I am a figurative painter currently living and working in Southeast Asia.My recent works explore tropical light, solitude, fragile human presence, and the silence of nature.I work mainly from life, often deep in jungles, near rivers, rocks, and abandoned tropical landscapes, where the environment becomes part of the psychological atmosphere of the painting.Classical painting traditions remain central to my practice. My artistic language has been shaped through the study of Velázquez, Sargent, Rubens, and other masters of figurative painting.Today I continue developing a series focused on the human figure in tropical environments — a body of work balancing realism, vulnerability, heat, stillness, and light.My works are held in private collections in the United States, Canada, France, England, Germany, Portugal, and India.
